What is there not to say about gamedeals? This place is like a second home for me. Over the years watching the store grow, and then shrink only to expand into more games and more varieties then every before. This store is a magical place if you get to experience it and the people who make it so wonderful :) 1000/10 every day of the week

Came down as I was looking for a long lost memory "Thundercade" so I had called in advance and ordered it. When I got down I asked if I could browse quickly. The store has fantastic COVID-19 guidelines and protections in place, so I felt exceptionally safe doing so. Since I was wearing a mask I was give the 10 minute guideline vs 5 rule they have in place. They also only allow 5 people max in store to ensure social distancing is adhered to. I was easily able to ask for help and find some additional items. Overall great experience, friendly staff and willing to help. For your best experience be sure to order online or call in advance to find your game, they post weekly inventory updates on their website too. This has made retro hunting all that more accessible and attainable during COVID-19, thanks team!

Visiting this video game store was quite a pleasant experience. This store is filled with a large assortment of video game consoles and handhelds as well as many games and accessories (from older and newer generations). There happened to be a much larger selection than I was originally expecting. I was quite surprised to see many older and rarer consoles/games/accessories being sold and/or showcased as well. Retro style music filled the space which seemed quite fitting for the environment. The staff were willing to answer several questions that I brought up. I would definitely recommend checking out this store for any video game enthusiast.

An amazing place with lots of old games. You will find what you’re looking for here. The staff is friendly and nice. I had a nice talk with one of the employees about favourite wrestlers. He was nice and welcoming. The prices are fair. Some people said that games can be found cheaper on ebay and that may be true for some games, but ebay has ridiculous shipping costs so overall it’s cheaper to buy from here.

So I am on a several day trip through all over western Canada. I brought my game boy to travel with me and my friend (because we’re total nerds). Me, being the idiot, forgot my charging cable on Vancouver island. Jade, was kind enough to stay open late in the store for me to rush over to grab a new cable! I will definitely be back when we roll in town next week to grab some more games and chat with my hero, Jade. Plus she was very cute :) made my night!
